LOL, seeing the title to this post come up on bloglines, my first thought--as a northeasterner here in the US--was that the post would be about deer ticks!!!

Oh, funny! Fortunately we don't get deer ticks here. I did have to take Star to have her ear checked a couple of weeks ago after she managed to get a grass seed in it ;).
