We had hoped to do the ferry last year but ran out of time. Looks like you two had a great weekend.
It's gorgeous!! Is this the "Lake" area that is shown on the Miss Potter movie, it's stunningly similar!!
Yes, the same area ... we tried to visit Beatrix Potter's house, but it was closed for the winter.
I love the Lakes, we've visited many times and it doesn't get boring. Beautiful photos of a beautiful place.
Oh how fun, this little American has actually been to Windermere.
