Where did my little girl go?

To the Middle School Prom

In a limo

With J-next-door

And some very smart boys (the boy in the white suit was elected Prom King)

Gulp!

  2. Two out of the four local middle schools do. I think it is because they change schools at 13, so it is the equivalent of an American junior high prom. All a bit different from our school days!

I must admit at first I thought it was over the top, but having seen how much they looked forward to it and what a great night they had I've changed my mind. Having a "grown up" event to mark their move to Upper School was special.

  4. She is beautiful! I particularly like the collapsible "brolly" in her lap!

It's very hard when they start getting older ... but then, since WE never age, it's ok ....

  5. She IS beautiful, and it is with a wistful, reminiscent heart that I note the equally beautiful (in a different way, of course) English countryside in the background.

Enjoy a cuppa for me today, will you?

Angel chose such a pretty dress, the color is scrumptious with her hair! She's lovely.

I love your daughters dress, she looks lovely in it. I was always to shy to go to my middle school dance and I feel like I missed something.
