Two out of the four local middle schools do. I think it is because they change schools at 13, so it is the equivalent of an American junior high prom. All a bit different from our school days!
I must admit at first I thought it was over the top, but having seen how much they looked forward to it and what a great night they had I've changed my mind. Having a "grown up" event to mark their move to Upper School was special.
She IS beautiful, and it is with a wistful, reminiscent heart that I note the equally beautiful (in a different way, of course) English countryside in the background.
Oh, my!!! Both girls look lovely and so mature. Sigh.... It's great to see them smiling together! Congratulations to you and Tevye on weathering this mile stone! Not easy is it?

She is beautiful! I particularly like the collapsible "brolly" in her lap!

Angel chose such a pretty dress, the color is scrumptious with her hair! She's lovely.
